I'm this year's Art Editor for our school's newspaper and publication office, (yes, we have one) the Benildean Press Corps, I'd like to announce that and we're on the search for some awesome artworks, the best artworks are to be featured in the next issue of our school's newspaper, The Benildean.
There's no specific theme, so please send in the best of your best works!

Only that you need to be currently enrolled as a student from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. No constraints on whatever course you are or what programs you use!
Sounds cool! How can I submit my artwork?
It's easy! All you have to do is send your best artwork to bpc.art.sec@gmail.com along with the following details:
• Your Name
• Your Course
• Your ID number
• Program Used
• Your website (whether that be your DA page, twitter or if you have a blog, whichever you want for the public to see more of you)
How do I know if I'm featured?
You just await until the next release of the school's newspaper.

HORIZONS' deadline: EXTENDED!!
Greetings! The deadline has been extended up to JANUARY 20, 2012! :D
In case you haven't heard, our school's publications also has an official Art Folio, Horizons. It features the talents of our college's artists and creatives and will be shown, not just to the other La Salle schools, but also to other universities and colleges.
The theme for this year is : "A Different Kind of Fairy Tale" :D

New banner + Avatar add-ons
Thank you so much to the pride of MMA, ~ran2x (https://www.deviantart.com/ran2x) for making a banner for us. Now we're one step closer to looking like a legitimate group!
To those of you who are proud to be a Benildean and would like to show it off, :iconran2x: has also made a little avatar add-on that the you guys can use. Do you see that little green star on the bottom right of his and my avatar? That's it.
Using photoshop, just add it on a new layer above your avatar and there you go! Here's the download link to the image: Avatar
Spread the word
Do you know any seminars, exhibits, workshops, or contests going on in Benilde? Post it!
There are always so many things going on in Benilde but usually there's not enough exposure. Help get the word out, even if it's just a poster you see on the glass wall near the cafeteria. On some rare occasions, those posters actually have something not so useless to say. (Speaking of which, the wall says that Artwork is holding a T-Shirt design competition. I'll try to get a copy of the poster posted here if it isn't too late.)
On another note, how many of you know Horizons? Hopefully you frosh out there have heard of it. Horizons is the Art Folio of
